Blind football CAN: Morocco beats Nigeria and qualifies for the World Cup

The Moroccan blind football team qualified for the final of the 5th African Cup of Nations (CAN), beating their Nigerian counterpart by 4 goals to 0, Wednesday in El Mansouria (near Mohammedia).

At the same time, Morocco punched its ticket for the next World Cup, scheduled for August 18 to 27, 2023 in Birmingham (England). The Nationals will play the final on Friday with the continental title in sight, but also qualification for the Paralympic Games (Paris-2024). The Moroccan blind football team, holder of 4 CAN titles, also won bronze at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
