The auto market is not in its best shape. A situation that affected the performance of Auto Hall. The group saw its sales fall by 27% at the end of August to 13,700 new vehicles sold. However, compared to their pre-crisis level, sales are up 8%. In addition, the dealer “maintains its leadership in the markets for industrial vehicles and light commercial vehicles”, with shares of 39 and 40%. For other markets, the group has a share of 8.2% in passenger cars and 18% for agricultural tractors. That said, Auto Hall was able to benefit from the good performance of the used vehicle activity, via its subsidiary Autocaz, and whose turnover reached 166 million DH.

Thus, at the end of June, the group achieved a consolidated turnover of 2.46 billion DH, down 12.78% over one year, but up 16.39% compared to 2019. The result consolidated net loses 56.72% compared to the same period of 2021 to stand at 87 million DH. It is still up almost 13% compared to its pre-crisis level.

In terms of investment, Auto Hall started the activity of its El Jadida branch after its reconstruction and also launched new construction sites for points of sale in Rabat, Kenitra and Tangier. It should also be noted that the group has started marketing the Chery and Maserati brands and the Seres electric vehicle.
